Egg rice (Biththara batha) for your lunch or dinner.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 kg of samba rice
- 50 g of essential oil
- 1 Chopped onion
- 8 cups of stock water
- Finely chopped omelette made from 4 eggs
- 4 beaten raw eggs
- 50 grams of cashews
- 3 Teaspoon of vegetable oil
- 50 g of Sultana grapes
- Chopped onion1
- 8 Cloves
- 8 Cardamom pods
- 10 Peppercorns
- Cinnamon cut into 2 inches
METHOD:
- Add rice, spices and stock and cook until the rice is cooked through.
- Melt the vegetable oil.
- Add the chopped onions, sultana grapes and fry until the onions are golden brown. Add cashews and fry further.
- Now remove from the stove and add the beaten eggs.
- Mix this with the cooked rice and finely chopped omelette
